Essex-based IT agency TechVertu has just achieved certification to the internationally recognised ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013 standards, establishing it as a leader in its field.
The independent assessments, conducted by the British Assessment Bureau, demonstrate TechVertu’s commitment to customer service and quality in delivery and to keeping its data, staff, and premises secure.
“We’ve worked hard to attain both standards and are over the moon with this achievement. We hope this demonstrates to our customers and potential clients that we are committed to the highest levels of performance, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement”, says Hadi Marashy, TechVertu’s Managing Director.
What do these standards mean?
ISO 9001
ISO 9001– was first introduced in 1987 and requires organisations to demonstrate that they do what they say they do and have a Quality Management System in place to ensure consistency and improvement.
Certified organisations are committed to continuous improvement and are assessed to ensure progress is being maintained.
ISO 27001
ISO 27001– is the internationally recognised Information Security Management Standard that proves an organisation’s commitment to protecting customer, employee and shareholder information. With ISO 27001, companies can minimise potential data security breach risks and reduce errors and costs while demonstrating credibility and trust.
